Half Dead. But Contented.

I’m like half-dead but feeling contented, because my peak week has come and gone and within one weeks’ time I was able to hand in 3 assignments and to deal with one grand presentation and a test. They were called group assignments but frankly speaking they were no different from individual works to me.

You see, the first two assignments were to come out with a newspaper and a magazine — four and eight pages respectively. And the problem with my group members was that two of them don’t know how to operate Adobe PageMaker. And another one of them was good in computer but with a lack of creativity on how to align articles and graphics neatly, that’s why in the end I still needed to put LOTS of final touches on their parts. Walau eh.

And then by last Friday I actually needed to hand in a 5000-word report on Political Science. Having a female partner from my damn class means working solo after all. That’s the problem when you procrastinate your assignments. I have not been procrastinating my stuff all this while. People go out on the weekends and spend a whole phucking day shopping; hang out on weekends but do my stuff after shopping. That makes the difference. That is why to cope with 3 assignments, one presentation and a test was still ok for me. By Thursday evening I was able to print out my 5000-word Political Science report.

A friend of mine was working part-time on Saturday, and he happened to be in my group. It is definitely not wrong to take up a part-time job to earn money. But if you can’t manage you time well, peh-lease la, don’t ever think of having a goddamn job ok. You see, I was still able to complete my tasks despite the fact that I had yet to come up with another completed version of my members’ works. Yet my friends were barely able to complete although they weren’t doing as much things as I was!!!

Being voted the best presenter last month doesn’t really matter. The presentation last Thursday is what I care the most because first off, it was a grand kind of a presentation. And second off, I honestly did not have much time to rehearse. I will share with you the result this week but as a teaser — like how my lecturer has commented, it was all good and spontaneous except for a bit of hesitation in my actions. Let’s see, phucker.

So yeah — basically I am bragging here. But I’m bragging because I can do it. You?

Waaaaaaa Huuuu Aaaaaaaaa!

On Noverber 1, 2005 I wrote an entry on Face Recognition. Why, on March 23, 2006 he also wrote an entry on My Heritage.

Click on both links to see the similarity!

More updates to follow after an ASSemination (supposed to be a test only laa) and some Ass-ignments and a presentation. Maybe Tomorrow or somethin’.
