Hi, my name is Kenneth Lee. I practice sincere blogging and I share my most honest reviews and thoughts. What goes around comes around - I believe the effort we put into building certain things will come back to determine the kind of outcome we deserve. Weeeeeee!
I officially have 2 days off every week. In fact it is 3 days inclusive of Sunday!!! Last semester our only off-days were Sundays.
Who says University is even easier than Form 6? Either that is a lie or a mis-perception. I say both have their respective degree of toughness — this applies to every single field out there.
The first week of the sem and we have already been told of and given the first assignment and group project. Group projects require teamwork, which is a skill to be learnt little by little and definitely not a goal because there are like bazillion of types of people out there you gotta deal with.
Lately, something ridiculous has happened upon selecting group members. You see, this good friend of mine (Individual A) has his own group, and me another. Then, a female classmate of mine (Individual B), originally belonged to none of the groups, decided to join my group.
That very afternoon when attending a lecture, I overheard the good friend of mine saying something along the line that our group was “stealing Individual B away,” representatively. I was shocked and burning upon hearing that but I didn’t say a word because I understood his style and I decided to save my energy in firing back at him.
Therefore I consider this yet another good lesson to be shared with my readers.
Good friends or not, business or personal, I just HATE to let conflicting interests go against my conscience. I feel that if you truly love your friends, you should have the responsibility to point them out if they have obvious wrongdoings or mis-perception. I often fire at my best friends because I can prove they are wrong, not because I’m against them.
Unless Individual B had earlier on told Individual A she wanted to be in his group, or unless we really have dragged her into our group knowing she is supposed to be in Individual A’s group, no — we are NOT stealing anyone away. Individual B joining our group is a mutual agreement and also her right. If she doesn’t like dealing with our group anymore someday, I’m sure she will switch group won’t she?
The next day, something made me burn again. This other female classmate (Individual C), who is in Individual A’s team, apparently wasn’t very happy with Individual B. Individual B was about to sit right beside Individual C when Individual C actually asked her why not sit with us.
They are like my good friends but I know I have to get this right. What kind of an attitude are you showing when you turn your personal hatred/anger onto a public affair? Come on, this is UTAR and not your typical tadika.
Get over that and grow up a bit will you?
