Hi, my name is Kenneth Lee. I practice sincere blogging and I share my most honest reviews and thoughts. What goes around comes around - I believe the effort we put into building certain things will come back to determine the kind of outcome we deserve. This blog serves both make money online (left column) and personal (right) niches. |
I might as well find a wall and bang myself. I used to not give a damn on Malaysian prominent figures, especially of the entertainment arena, but I just realized that could be so wrong when working as a journalist.
And lots of celebrities were sitting RIGHT in front of us, but we did not know any — we only knew one of them looked damn familiar, whom we found out to be Afdlin Shauki (see
Sumo-lah). Another celeb we found out was, among all who attended, the striking Betty Banafe. No like she was
that pretty, but her braided hair said something.
Afdlin Shauki looks like a bodyguard.
So we were having our refreshment after the PC. The dining tables were packed, but we managed to find a table with two seats left. Got one man sandwiched between two women at the table.
When I saw them naturally I went up to introduce myself. I was like, “Hi I’m Kenneth from The Star, you are?”, and he went like, “Hello, my name is so and so (I don’t remember his name even until now).”
I turned to the woman on his left to shake hand and asked, “Which paper are ya’ll from?”
She said, “Hi, I’m so and so — I’m his manager.”
What? I paused for a moment because I thought that had nothing to do with my question.
And I was caught in a stupid-looking moment before I realized a celebrity was sitting right at our table!
OMG.
UPDATE: Alicia Tan’s
