Hi, I'm Kenneth Lee. I practice sincere blogging and I share my most honest reviews and thoughts. What goes around comes around - I believe the effort we put into building certain things will come back to determine the kind of outcome we deserve. I can’t get enough of Kampar.
On Monday I had the whole van of lecturers waiting for me, not because I was busy grabbing photos like during my first day (of which my desperation was accidentally witnessed by some lecturers, haha), but my fellow students were asking a. damn. lot. of. questions!
Which I like though, considering most other students can be very passive and quiet today!
Paiseh to the max to have to let an entire van waiting for 15 mins.
Anyway, I am now tutoring a total of four classes with two subjects — Advertising Copywriting and Media Planning. The latter being the “culprit” because it was one of the heaviest subjects I had taken as a University student and am tutoring as of now.
My students were asking me, “Sir, when is your consultation hours?”
“I’m a traveling staff, how to have consultation here?” I said. “Why not we have it on MSN?”
Therefore for the very first time in my students’ history (at least according to some of them), I have had online consultation with them to deal with their assignments. One of the subjects has a weightage of 50% for its assignment!
Thank you Raymond for taking me around the campus during my first day there! The campus is pretty beyond words! Most of the students would cycle to the campus, making the bicycle-parking area a very phenomenal scene!
How the hell do students recognise their own bicycle?!
My friend Beng told me each bicycle is unique to individuals because most students would zhng their bicycle like people zhng-ing their car.
This is something I don’t get to see even in public Universities such as UM, UPM and UTM. The humbleness of the University life really does overwhelm me!
Student’s accommodation!
Those who get to rent a unit by the lake must be lucky and living a long life, haha, with the presence of good feng shui (note the mountains behind)! But of course, rate would be expensive I heard!
I understood that traveling, full-timer lecturers get to stay at the Grand Kampar (the building that looks like it’s got a
dome as below), which I really admire!
A lecturer, however, told me he was sick of staying in a hotel!
I almost died on the spot.
The cafeteria proudly overlooks the beautiful lake, which used to be a mine before.
The cafeteria will be full by noon! I didn’t realise there is a dining room for staff and had to gong gong snatch place with fellow students.
Idiotic or not?
Sunset:
And now I have to abruptly end my post because I have already been blogging for an hour. No life!
