A search on the keyphrase “make money online” on Google returned me with the following result:
Although my blog is listed on the front page of the search engine results page (SERP) — at least from where I google, it fares the poorest among all blogs in the SERP as it is at the bottom.
As this blog has gained enough backlinks to make it to the front page, the main reason why it has dropped to the bottom is because of the lack of entries as of late.
For your information, the latest entry I have added before this is dated back to October 30, which was ten days ago!
Therefore right now, I’m gonna do an experiment to prove that having enough backlinks is insufficient. On top of that, constantly adding entries will keep you on top of the game.
As experts always say, content is king.
This post will be published at approximately 11.20pm, which is also the time where this blog maintains at the bottom position of the SERP.
Once this post is indexed, I’m gonna check back its position, and we’ll see if it shoots up or not.
Update: Okay I don’t know what happens, but my SERP ranking seems to have slipped to the second page instead. I have yet to look into why this happens. It’s totally embarrassing!
Update 2: It has gone back to first page, and it’s slightly higher than the result we saw for the first time!
