As affiliate marketing grows in popularity, more and more people are finding it either convenient or absolutely necessary to keep themselves up to date on the road. For many people, that means tracking their blogs and finances with their iPhone.

This is a list of the top five iPhone applications that every affiliate marketer must have.
At only $6.99, the Google Analytics application is perhaps the best deal for figuring out which of an affiliate marketer’s keywords and sites get the most traffic. Google Analytics is typically a free service, and can be accessed using the iPhone web browser, but the application is far more convenient.
As usual, it gives all of the incredibly convenient information about a site, such as operating system and browser used to visit it, e-commerce reports, and even the search engine terms used to reach the site. The application expands this portfolio to a total of 41 different reports. This is excellent for deciding domain names to buy, as well as optimizing content.
This application is excellent for anyone who uses ClickBank, especially at only $2.99. For those who don’t know about it, ClickBank is a site that allows one to get an affiliate link for many different products, which can be posted anywhere. Any time that this link is clicked and a purchase is made, the affiliate gets a cut of the purchase price.
The CB Stats application allows the user to see pages of statistics on his or her CB account, including which sites receive the most clicks, which links receive the most clicks, money made per month, week, and day, and more.
Twitter/WordPress/Facebook Apps
Most people who participate in affiliate marketing programs will already know about these applications, and probably already have them. However, the important of such apps can not be exaggerated, especially since most are free. Every affiliate marketer likely posts to one, if not all, of these social networks.
Even if it is only for the purpose of link-building, for example, an affiliate marketer will tweet about each and every article posting in order to give it greater search engine ranking. Many people do this with their Facebook statuses as well. Having these programs convenient on a phone can ensure that one always does this when necessary.
Almost all affiliate programs pay out earnings to a marketer’s PayPal account. This makes this application incredibly useful. Not only is it more secure than accessing the website through the browser, because it uses 256-bit encryption rather than 128-bit, it also gives an extraordinary number of statistics.
For example, it can compare income received from various affiliate programs, and even income received per month. Furthermore, it has all of the standard functionality that the PayPal website has. This application is free.
SalesForce is another web-based program that allows one to compare income received from various sources. It also will crunch all of this data in order to give comprehensive reports about the income and best-performing sites and links. As usual, the reports are well made, especially for a free application.
These apps, while some do overlap, are all very important for an affiliate marketer. They help improve site rankings, analyze site data, and manage money earned, the three most important tasks for an affiliate marketer.
