The server on which MrDefinite.com was hosted unfortunately suffered a DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack at 5.40pm yesterday.

The DDOS attack resulted in a surge of bandwidth by over 200%, which immediately led to downtime of the site. The issue was however quickly fixed early this morning today thanks to my host Surpass.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused to all. MrDefinite.com shall resume its normal operation.

I know I’m a little late on this, but it was only recently that I noticed the new preview feature — known as Instant Previews — on Google’s search engine results pages.

It provides a graphic overview on the websites listed in the search engine results pages, thus making the effort to look for the right page a lot easier.

The limitation, however, is that the preview tends to lag a little sometimes. The text in the preview is also rather small. These could bring about inconvenience to users.
