AdWords with New Feature
Now the Adwords users don’t need to develop the keyword lists of misspellings, plurals, stemming and other variants.
The reason behind this is that because of the high demand of users, Google enabled the option for its users to automatically do keywords misspelling matches and other variants in the same way as the Google does for its organic search results.

This function has been enabled in the hope that both the advertisers and the consumers will get the benefit.
AdWords with New Feature
Focus on User Intent
As Google says, up to 7% of the search queries include misspellings, plurals, stemming and the longer queries contain even more mistakes.
Also, if one would search by using the search terms like “gold coin” will get the same result if searching with search term “gold coins”.
New Enabled Function
The new change will take the five different variations in language as described below:
- Misspellings – The misspelling search term “waterproof nail paint” will automatically give the exact result as of search term “waterproof nail paint” by automatically correct it.
- Singular and Plural forms – like “gold coins” and “gold coin”.
- Stemming – “single serve” and “single serving”.
- Abbreviations – “Dr.” versus “Doctor”.
- Acronyms (“NYC” versus “New York City”)
Researched and Tested
Google has been tested this new functionality with the few advertisers and conclude that it has been tested that there is an increase in the search click by 3% on an average.
To enable this option, one should click the campaign settings tab, select keyword matching option under advanced settings.
This new interface will be rolled out in the next couple of weeks. This feature can be opting out only by those advertisers who wish to get finer control on their keywords.
