And we have students selling their creative ideas to “clients” at the end of the semester.
This semester students have been given a task to re-brand on several products either in the introductory or declining stage, which include A&W, P1 Wimax, XOX, Tune Hotels, and Windows 7.
And here are the mock-ups of their proposed events:
A&W

P1 Wimax

Tune Hotels

Tune hotels are budget hotels and I asked why was the mock-up also berbajet-bajetan. The students said something to the effect that we must be environmental friendly and due to that, every material in the mock-up has been recycled!
I really didn’t know if that was a good or lame excuse! Haha!
XOX Prepaid

Theme of campaign is “connection” and therefore the chairs are connected with threads to symbolise the concept.

And this is the print ad to XOX. Really love the simple yet effective concept.

Microsoft Windows 7

Here is a shot of my students presenting to me their creative strategies. They were representing an advertising agency and me their client.
Students were very serious and I love their enthusiasm!

At the end of the presentation students heaved a huge sigh of relief and the next moment I know, everyone was cam-whoring and busy taking photos.
Group shots of me with students:

A group of students took the initiative to shoot a commercial for P1 Wimax by adopting ideas from famous Hong Kong drama “Beyond the Realm of Conscience” with a homour approach.
MAD HILARIOUS!
… albeit still lacking a STRONG creative concept.
Commercial for Tune Hotels. No infringement of copyright intended for any of the video clips or images posted. They are strictly for educational purposes only. Enjoy!
P/S: The ideas and executions are not bad considering they are done by Public Relations and not Advertising students!
