Interesting, but you could be a bit more expansive with how you use it.
I have the dofollow plugin on my own wordpress blog, so I get the general idea…
But I’m still scratching my head a bit as to how to actually use this tool.
Still that will mean I’ll just have to stick it my bookmarks (yeah they’re all on Diigo and Delicious) and come back to it later…

Thanks for enabling dofollow. I think more people should enable it on their blogs. Sure you will invetiably get some spam, but at the end of the day theres plenty of modules that can help you fight off such spam such as captcha and askimet if you’re using wordpress.
thank you again.

Commenting in a related blog is a good way of building awareness among other bloggers, however if the blog does not use the nofollow attribute its additional backlink benefit, thanks for the link.

It is a useful tool, but still it is critical to find blogs that are related to your niche if you wish to get seo value. I have heard some authorities recently discuss whether it may even be of more seo value to comment on related nofollow blogs! Sounds strange, but who knows what google takes into account.
By Tattoo Ideas on May 17, 2010 | Reply
Thats a great thing that you allow to comment on your blog and links are dofollow. I just started with my new tattoo blog and I was looking for some great place to leave my comment about what I’m doing. Thank you for giving us that opportunity and good luck to you.

Thank you for such a great opportunity to make a comment on your blog with a dofollow attribute. It is a big shame that this days such blogs like yours are very rare. I love dofollow because thanks to it the community on the blogs is getting bigger and you always can take advantage from a quality comments. I wish you all the best in the future. Cheers

Leaving a comment with a blogger that doesn’t allow follow is like talking to someone that never lets anyone else say anything.
By Web Design on Jun 14, 2010 | Reply
I disagree with R Cox, leaving comments on nofollow blogs is like talking to someone who doesnt tell anyone else about you.
Commenting on a dofollow blog is like talking to a loud mouthed person who will tell other people that they have talked to you.
Either way, the number of links your site has is not everything, important yes but not everything!

Do-follow blogs are good for everyone except Google. That’s what happens when you base your search algorithm on something as simple to manipulate as links.

This is great to know. I can understand the whole logic behind ‘no follow’ blogs but that means we are wasting a very powerful seo resource which can benefit everyone. If it wasn’t for spammers, all blogs could have been such great seo tools! Useful comments are a great way to share information and also form online connections with industry professionals. I am all for do follow blogs!
